Q. What area do you cover for installation?
A. We work within a sixty mile radius of Winchester, Hampshire. If you
would like to know if you are in our area contact us
and we will reply as soon as possible.
-
Q. What sort of Alarms do you do?
A. We fit two types of alarm, an audible only
system and a monitored system. Every
alarm is different though as the equipment installed will be chosen to
meet your requirements.
-
Q. How much will it cost?
A. This depends on the property where the system is being installed and
the type of installation. Contact us to get a FREE
no obligation survey and we will discuss your needs and the cost.
-
Q. Can I fit the alarm myself?
A. No, we do not supply equipment for our customers to fit themselves.
This is because of the code and practices we work to. If you have an
alarm fitted by us you know it will be reliable and you will get the expert
technical support you need.
-
Q. Will there be a lot of hassle and upheaval when
you fit the alarm?
A. No, the installation of a system can usually be completed in a single
day. Our engineers will cause you the minimum amount of disturbance
possible and they always clean up after themselves.
-
Q. Will my alarm be easy to use?
A. Yes. All our alarms are quite straight forward and easy to use. When
the installation is completed you will be given a full demonstration of
how to use the system, and the engineer will go through any issues you
may have until you are completely comfortable using you new alarm.
-
Q. My insurance company say I have to have an alarm,
can you fit it for me?
A. Yes. As a member of the BSIA and
NSI NACOSS Gold Scheme, Bridger
Alarms are qualified to fit an alarm for insurance purposes, and will
design a system to meet your insurance companies requirements.
-
Q. What happens if there is a power cut, will my
alarm still work?
A. In the event of a power cut the alarm will take its power from a
standby battery in the main control equipment. The alarm will continue
to function normally and will take its power from the mains again as soon
as power is restored.
-
Q. What happens if my monitored alarm goes off and
the police are called?
A. If the police are called and there is a genuine break in they will
deal with the situation accordingly. If the activation is a false alarm
and there has been no break in the police will remove one life from your
account. The police provide you with three lives in a
rolling
year and when these are gone they will no longer attend an
activation on your system.
-
Q. What kind of guarantee will I get when I buy
a system from you?
A. The standard guarantee with the system is a one year warranty, but
this will be extended to two years if you take out a
service contract with us.
-
Q. What happens if my system develops a fault?
A. Contract customers have access to our 24 hour callout service,
meaning if a fault develops anytime of the day an engineer will come and
find the fault and repair the system for you. Non-contact customers can
contact us during normal office hours.
-
Q. How soon can I expect an engineer to come and fix
my alarm?
A. Contract customers can usually expect an engineer within four hours
of making the call to Bridger Alarms, but sometimes this is not
practical. Non-contract customers can expect an engineer as soon as one
is available during normal office hours.
